One of EG A/S strategic areas is the energy industry and this acquisition is a step towards a strengthening of EG Utility's position in Scandinavia. With EnergyFront EG Utility will acquire a customer base in Norway and qualified employees with long experience in the energy industry. Product-wise, EnergyFront will supplement EG A/S with the ELITE concept and knowledge of KIS, CRM, EDM Microsoft SharePoint / MOSS, AMM / AMS, EDI and document management.

The new company will continue to have its headquarters in Trondheim, but will in the near future share offices with EDB Gruppen Norway who are already established in Trondheim.
